If you failed to catch many, or any, carp on your last fishing holiday, did you begin to doubt your fishing skills, or suspect the lake owner's fish stock claim ?

Lake owners can claim whatever they like, anything they think might attract the punters - Carp at 58lbs!!? There are plenty of lakes to choose from in France, and we need to compete for business, but we're not going to tell you we have more fish than water, or that the Carp are so huge that you'll need a wide screen camera! We have a quality site here, with quality fish.

So here is a bit of honest blurb about our fish.

In late 2009 the lake was drained down with the assistance of a local french fish farmer.

    
We selected and sold a lot of the existing carp, due to their quality and age, and returned only good sized, quality carp back into the lake. Plus 80 - 100 pike, roach, perch and some small fry for the pike.

We have a good head of quality Carp, from 20lbs to 40lbs. We have implemented a high protein feeding program which will accelerate fish growth, moving many of the 30lb fish into the 40lb bracket.
